Bieker Eng Reputability/ Timing/ Pricing

Guys, I have been waiting to get my carbs rebuilt for the past 3 years and from what I've been told the best is Bieker Eng. I have seen pics of his work and been told his carbs will work Perferctly.
However, I am wondering from those of you who have sent your carbs to him as to his turnaround time.. As I am Eagerly Waiting to get my daily driver back on the road.
Also, what have been the prices and work accomplished?

FWIW, I've been calling Harry for a week, emailed and faxed him. No response. His vmail is full. He must be on vacation because he's never been this slow.

Harry did mine a year ago. Here are some shots of the finished product. His 'artwork' is impecible. I would recommend him, as well as use him again.

How long has he had your carbs? ...

To OTHERS>>> HOW much did it end up costing?

I must say the Finished product is Beautiful! I just hope they tune as good as they look!

Harry originally quoted me 6 to 8 weeks. I got them back in 8.

I have had the car on the road all last year and it is back on the road again. They still work perfect.

His cost may be a little more than others but based upon his workmanship it was money well spent. I put them on the car and they ran perfect right from the start. I just had to do minor balancing and adjustments.

My guess is it will cost between 800-1,000. This includes all new plating, throttle shafts etc.

If you don't have any serious issues with them (ie throttle shaft) and have some time on your hands, you can DIY. It's good fun and you get better bonding with your carbs .

Keith.. When you got them back how did you go about setting them up? How long did the procedure take before you got them running Smoothly?

Any Flat spots?

What engine are they mounted to?

I tinkered with them for less than 1 day. They were close to perfect. Motor is a 2.7 9.5:1, S Cams, port matched intake / exhaust. There are no flat spots, pulls from idle to 7,300 and never skips a beat. My guess is it would pull higher but it is quick enough for me. I still need to learn how to drive.

I still haven't been able to get through the Harry. His voicemail is still full, a full month after the last time I tried calling him. Has anyone heard from him? No replies to my emails or faxes, either.

I got mine back about a week ago, he had quoted me about 5 weeks and it ended up taking about 2mo 2weeks or so.. maybe more.. it was a Long time, but I am very patient.

They came out looking great! To be very nit picky they still have a little spit every now and again that I havent been able to get rid of yet..

Here is a link to pics of the build and Fresh Webers!

Drivetrain Project Complete 3yrs PICS

IM thinking that they are still set a little rich bc I seem to get only about 13 mpg whereas before I was getting around 16. I need to figure this out..

Anyone have any ideas?
