The beast is in!

The beast, my 3.8 stroked, tricked out dream engine is in it's home after a lengthy winter build.

Now its time for the fuel lines and Haltech tuning!

Now I'm excited. 400 to 425hp is predicted

OK, I'll leave now.

Is that a new shroud (orange) ?

If not, can you tell me how you cleaned it up?

Engine looks beautiful. That thing is going to be incredible!

Thanks guys. I'm freakin chomping at the bit here.

Original post.....My New Track Engine Debut

I have been holding out on registering for any track events due to health reasons and I told the builder to go slowly during the build.

Now I cannot wait to hear this animal.

A shot from the belly of the beast.

MCA...
The fan shroud was cleaned, degreased and all the little do dads removed and plated,,, then spray painted, rattle can.

Krylon spray paint for plastic. I believe it's called "Sun Dried Tomato"

Going into.......

BUT.........With the new found power we're thinking either a 993 GT2 EVO good for aero on track

or 934 rebody which I perfer.

Hey Jeff, thanks.

After seeing green I've decided on Orange. I agree, 934 is the way to go.

A 934 just looks so badazz.

Do you mind if we ask the cost? I'm debating adding a turbo vs. building a big motor.

I may be in the minority here, but if the current wheel/tire combo can handle the power I would leave the body as is and spend the savings on track time. I love the hot-rod and with all due respect, bastard look.

Are those Yokohama Advan A048s? They will handle the car's performance fine. I sure like mine.
