Hmm, look what's available at the DMV?
Too bad the plates are SO expensive! Just got my renewal for the vanity plates on my SHO, $181.50 for 2 years...
It IS tempting for my 911 though... ![]()

Ahh Rhode Island, the "My Vanity plate is better than yours" State!
$181.50 is cheap considering the Crooks we got running the show! Fred, did you have to have to kiss Big Vinnys ring before you slipped him the money in a brown paper bag? ![]()

Wow! Do you still have to buy a standard plate as well? In Oklahoma we have to buy a regular tag for the car as well as the personalized tag. My Carrera cost $23.50 for the regular tag and $21.00 for the personalized tag.

We only pay for one set of plates per car. So your saying you get to have 2 sets of plates for one car at the same time? Cool!

The plates that are issued are sitting in the trunk. Obviously no one can see it and I could not tell you what the tag number is. I have not looked at in in years. The personalized tag is on the rear bumper. No front tag needed. It is 100% legal to run with either tag, but there is no way to run both at the same time. The good news is it is real cheap for cars more than 20 years old.
