Trying to remember... are you the one that the speedo works but not the odometer?

Or does nothing work?

Not sure for your year, but is the pickup present for the sensor to reference?

I had a similar problem. Use multimeter and start from the sensor and work backward. Test the new sensor with a magnet to confirm it works. Then check wiring to tunnel to be sure there is continuity. Then check the wires from the tunnel to the speedo for continuity. Doing this you'll isolate the problem. In my case the brand new sensor was faulty.
