New addition to my garage

I just got a new addition to my garage. Last weekend I got a '78 SC. I thing there was a post last week about this car. However, it's in my garage now. The car looked really bad when I picked it up, the paint is all faded, it;s leaking oil.

My plan is to get it ready for this summer to drive and have some fun. Before that I will need to upgrade the timing chain tensioner, and replace some seals from the engine.

The car has original 85k miles and the interior need some attention.

The heat exchanger are rosted and I plane to use the set I have on my ' 71 911T (which will be a AX car) and put some headers on that one.

At this time I'm buffing and polishing the paint and got already some shining spots.

Here is my 71 AX Project

Project has finally started '71 911T

Yeah! My father looked at that one!

I am in Charleston, SC but my parents are in VA. My father was interested but felt that it would be too much work ... seeing as how he is unfamiliar with 911s.

By chance did you go see the car in your other 911. My father said some guy was there to look at it the same day and showed up in a mint carrera of some sort.

Congrats! Maybe I will see you around up there!

Update !

Finally I put plates on the car and went to do the VA State inspection, and to my surprise it passed

Now I drive it some days to work. I have to finish my 71 911T first before I start on this one.

Here some of the latest picturs from the 911T:

Cheers
