early 911 engine number "help"
im looking at adding another 911 to the stable. the car is a project and im trying to figure out what the motor has webers on it and wondering what year and displacment it is?

Are you sure you don't have too many digits?

to many numbers?
i read the numbers off twice and that is what we came up with. i read and someone else wrote so maybe there was a mistake somewhere?
the car is definitely european all gages and under hood writing is in german. but it is not a sportomatic maybe it was at once or the engine is not origanal to the car. but thanks that helps. where do you find these numbers i have search quit a bit and have come up short. thanks |

6103101 would still fall under the category of 1970 European 911T with Sportomatic.
