Autobahn Extremist makes a nice one in carbon fiber, but it ain't cheap--something like $150 when I bought mine (to match the AE carbon fiber air shroud that I have, but I'm not going to admit how much that cost...).

SW is talking about a roughly triangular panel that covers the entire electrical panel and is help on by 2 thumbscrews.

Mine cost $30+ and the new ones look nice after you clean the engine comp.

CF provides no advantage in this application - it is merely bling.

IF Pelican does not have it try Stoddard's & get the thumbscrews new also.

If completely unavailable, post on Used parts section &/or call used parts places. You can replate the thumbscrews & their washers - wait until you have a whole batch of stuff to save $$.

You can use a rubber / plastic restoring spray on an old cover and it will look quite nice.

CT,

Which cover are you wanting - the small bakelite box cover or the larger plastic/fibreboard cover with the two screw holes ?
Also which year 911 is this for ?

Cheers,
Dennis.

I'm only aware of the larger triangular-shaped thing with the two thumbscrews. Is there supposed to be another component to it?

Yes there are two different 'fuse covers'.
The first was a small 3 fuse bakelite box with a screw on cover .
I believe it was used up to the '70 MY - after that was the larger triangular cover with the two thumbscrews, later wingnuts.
After checking the parts cd with my mechanic,we reached the conclusion that the screw on cover was no longer needed with the larger fibreboard cover in place.
Or maybe they could save 3 / 4 pfennigs by deleting the earlier cover !

Cheers,
Dennis .

actually, there are 2 (or more?) versions of the larger triangular cover.

the one shown above is an early version

later on, they used wing nuts and had 2 holes (no slot) - the later covers may need a bit of hole enlargement to fit on an earlier car
