Turn Signals don't work
I have a 1982 911SC that my turn signals stopped working.
No light in the dash nor in the rear or front siganls. Fuse or turn signal stalk? Any suggestions on how or what to check first? Thanks,

Check fuses first, then all connections to stalk. Also, move the turn indicator lever to either right or left position with the ignition off, this should turn on the European parking light for that particular side. Does it work? If not, that just confirms you are getting no power to the system. Problem could still be the stalk, but more likely a power source.
Check the turn signal relay. See if its seated properly. Try the hazard lights--do they work? They use the relay also. If the hazards are dead, then it again looks like a power supply issue. Keep us posted

Flasher is the little thing that turns them on and off. Like a relay that cycles. Try replacing that.

Flasher is the relay. Located in the trunk, under the cowel, just in front of the fuel gauge. It's the square/cube shaped one.

BTW, now that you know where the relay is, you may try to wiggle it in the socket to insure it is properly seated and making contact. This could be the problem rather than the relay itself.

This was a very helpful thread! I also have a 1982 and it is a very hot Day in Washington DC and like the man said, ALL of a SUDDEN they stopped working!
My Question is, even with the heat is the problem the Flasher unit that is Border line bad and the heat sends it over the line?
