I know you are all sick of hearing about this one, it was not the a/c hitting, it was the damn coil was raised up too far in the holding clamp and knocking into the a/c evaperator under the lid, but again it's all better now, cab owners, I can't tell you how much tighter the car feels with the damper out and the soild piece in. They had mentioned that the damper was there to create the illusion of structural integrity but it does quite the opposite, makes it seem loose vs tight.
