Fuch for Spare

Is there any size Fuch wheel and tire combo I can use to replace my factory spare in my 1979 911 Targa?

yep, I think a 15 with the space saver on it. Others will chime in I'm sure.

A little off topic, but I used a BBS 3 piece race wheel (15").

You can use any 6 x 16 Fuchs and 16" rubber from a 993 spare...fits too. There are some threads on this.

FYI.

One Fuchs is Fuchs, plural is also Fuchs.

Fuchs is German for Fox. Must have the 's' on the end or it's not a word.

14", 15", and 16" Fuchs all can work. I have a 14" Fuchs as my spare.

For those of you that have done it, did you have to put an extra bead on the rim or would a space saver fit straight on the wheel?

a 6X15 with a 195/50/15 is a good choice too.

I will have to dig it out, while setting a set of wheels for a non flared 914, I noticed it looked small enough to fit, plus, no inflating and it is balanced
Anyone who has driven on a a temp knows how much it sucks
