I want to cut this wire...but I am afraid!
This is a picture of the wires in question. I believe they went to the seatbelt. I am putting together a PCA Club Racer of sorts and I was hoping to clean up the floor a bit before putting it all back together. Can I cut this wire? Specifically the brown and yellow wire the top arrow is pointing too.
I was going to pull the connectors from the yellow wires and shove the whole bundle down in the hole it originates from in the tunnel. ![]()

Those wires look like my Engine Heater Fan switches. Since you are racing I assume you have removed the heater?
My 2 cents

Draco is correct regarding the yellow wires. The switch on the end is actuated by the two heater levers next to the e-brake. If that switch is serviceable, I'd take it off your hands.
I'm not sure what the other wire is. |

I suspect the brown/yellow wire might go the the emergency brake switch.

thanks for the input guys...the two yellow wires are just hanging on a connector of sorts and the brown/yellow stripe goes under to the end of the parking brake.
