I always had a full size pickup up until 2008. I needed it for my "other" job at the time. Always Chevy's - but not on purpose. They just always seemed to be what I came across. After having kiddos and not hauling around drums and PA gear as much anymore I was talked into this - because "it has a nice back seat, great reliability and is easier to park":

After getting it home I found that The bed is not deep enough (height wise) for a bass drum or parts of my monitor rig, and the bed cover is not completley water tight. The first two issues are my bad - I just assumed. The water tight BS is all on Honda and just stupid - especially when they charge you 850.00 for the bed cover. It has been reliable, and the fish crackers smashed into every crevice vacuume up pretty easily - but I still refer to it as my "Barbie dream house truck". Once it dies, I will go back to a real truck - maybe with a gun-rack just to try and regain some of my man hood after driving the current wanna-be for so long. Tried to pull a small stump out of my yard last year with it..... I will let you guess on the outcome....

Here are two other old "trucks" in the garage. The first is a 1960 Morris Minor:

Runs awesome and looks fantastic with a Christmas tree in the back. We even used the bed as the bar at our wedding. Basically an MG (but with a 1275 Healy motor in it).

The last is a 57 Fordson delivery van (English Ford). RHD and used by Harrods in London for decades. It has a great patina and a hilarious flat head 4 banger. Undernieth, the technology is barely ahead of a model A. We refer ot it as the "M.O.T. refugee". Still wearing its original plates and tax discs.

... oh, and two Hondas - complete with car seats and pounds of fish crackers smashed into the carpet (and seats, and door pockets, etc etc etc....)

Love the delivery van. Must a great story behind it - not your average Craigslist find.
