Photoshop Help

I have had my name on the beautiful car that is owned by Jim Bauer. He is a frequent poster and his car is exactly what I like -

Could anyone p-shop this picture of his car to a arctic silver car with red highlight strips and a black center with the PORSCHE cutout.

thanks in advance. I'll be giving this to my painter.

Jeffrey,

Thanks. That helps me quite a bit.

If you take another stab, the silver is right but I was thinking a little more red for highlited bits and the center more of a black to match the wheels.

Off topic here - but how do you change the color of the car in Photoshop? I could manage to cut the stripes out and put them on another photo, but how do you "define" or select the car and change only its color and not the rest?

In this case the easiest is to select the area in question, copy to a layer, and apply color changes to the layer only... For silver, desaturate probably did it... You can often make it lighter or darker easily that way, black, white, silver is easy... Color substitution is a lot tricker, to me anyway... Let's hear techniques!

I only know the improper way to make this happen:
outline using the pen/knife tool
make selection
Image - adjust, colors, and all other kindsa stuff.

I'm sure there is a better way, but for the ADD kinda guy I am, that works well.

one suggestion... seeing your pelican id, why not use green and blue as your trim colors?

Green/Blue? Shane, the only colors are silver/black in my opinion (or Cardinal & Gold) for PAC10

Wow! I can't believe I have been an inspiration. Looks awesome! You may want to think about Grey and not silver? Love it.

ncseahawk- sent you a PM.

IROC-ish is my favorite.

I also really like the 911R-ish cars posted.

Really captures the P-Car spirit. To me anyway...
