MSD ignition question
My 1976 911 has a 1983 3.0 stock,except for the K&N air filter,cat bypass, advanced timing.
Question...Is MSD ignition worth spending the money on for an upgrade? Would it be a noticable difference? Or is it just for HIGH performance, track built engines? ![]() ![]() Last edited by Cali 911; 10-28-2008 at 05:24 PM.. |

For your car, I wouldn't bother with an MSD unless your OEM ignition fails.

What Steve said. Most will agree with that statement. Some will disagree but those people usually have some other issue with a slightly rough idle and claim that the MSD fixed it. It really just masks the original issue.
