RSR CDI box 8 pin
Dear all,
I would like to learn a little more about the 8 pin CDI. Bosch produced them for Maserati, Ro 80 and Porsche RSR. these boxes are runnung with an hall distributor. I have some schematics but I don,t know where they belong to. Who knows about part no. Porsche RSR Box 0 227 xxx xxx Maserati Box 0 227 300 002 Ro 80 Box 0 227 200 001 Who can post some schematics of the 8 pins. RIP Warren this board is missing you. bob

I have a 8 pin which came with a 3.0l turbo, Bosch # 0227 3 0000 3.
I was my belief that the RSR used 2 6 pin CD boxes. |

The ’74 911 RSR M491 motor typ 911/75 parts list shows “Steuergrät – Switch Unit” as 911.602.703.00. H.k.z. – Steuergrät m.einstellb. elektron. Drehzahlabsteller.
It doesn’t give any other information. Best, Grady

AFAIR, RSR boxes had external rev limit controllers, hence the odd configuration.
These were triggered by magnetic pickup distributors, not Hall Effect ones.

Old post,but i am looking for info on this 8 pin i have here.
Can not find any info on which car this was used in. Anybody knows? B 227020061 Uncommon serial as far as i know.

I think last 3 digits 003 is the correct one for 3.0 Turbo.
061 should be for a other car? |
