DIY Brake Cooling

I know a lot of people fab up their own cooling. Here is a G2 style setup, that means it was made up of some old alum laying around the shop. Got a nice tight fit to the rotor and directed the air right into the center. Now I just have to make 3 more sets for our other cars.

I did the same as no one was producing these for 930 brakes at the time I needed them.

Although somewhat cruder in appearance, they do indeeed work.

Very nice job on yours.

Denny told me about these last night when I was looking at the "project car", I'm definitely down for a set!

Sweet! Denny said they're 2.5" inlets right? I have 3" hoses so I guess I'll need to make some adapters or get smaller hose & ducts for the front bumper.

Nice work by G2 as always!

Is the key here for easier routing of the hose, the elimination of the factory underbody sway bar on 74-89 cars? It does a very nice job of getting in the way of your hose path. I see the thru-body sway bar links aren't exactly helpful either......

Michael,
Just use a hose clamp. You don't need a reducer. You can remove the wire spring from the hose, if necessary.

Nice job, Cgarr!

Nice work!! Exactly what I am looking for...what are the chances of a non-Michiganer being eligible for a pair of those?
