Cool broken rear sway bar

I must have hit something, because my left rear swaybar mount is busted..What is the recomended fix? Temp fix, I cut the mount flush with the frame , then I welded a piece of unistrut onto the outside of the frame. I then bolted the swaybar to the unistrut for a temp fix. I notice the drop link has an impact on the bottom, which broke the one of the two bolts clean off.

This typically happens with the rear sway bar mounts on the back of 84 up Carreras. The heavier chassis combined with the larger sports bars (standard 87 up i think?) causes the mounts to flex and crack.
Sure, you hitting something did not help either

BUT a nice solution is available from Wevo (or its dealers) The heavy cast mount that they make can be welded in place of the originals. Proper prep, location, and welding are key to a good install. If you have a pre 78 car, then you will need to buy the 78-89 sway bar clamps and bushes, as the wevo mount is set up for that. Make sure you order the bush size that corresponds with the sway bar fitted
