transmission 1984 911 targa
car only has 80,000 miles, but shifting into 1st and from 1st to 2nd is "knobby". I have changed the transmission oil, but didn't help. got any suggestions?

Put in Swepco tranny fluid, drive another 100 miles, and adjust and readjust the linkage. If it's no better, I agree with Peter.
