Temp Switch Wire Question
There is a Temp switch on the cam chain cover of CIS cars... Mine is an 83 SC. The switch has two wires that connect to it.. The male end on the switch has a round raised button on it (see attached)
Here is my issue, the terminal broke off the wire. Where can I find the wire terminal end. I cant find one anywhere that will slide over that raised round button. Any ideas? Thanks ![]() |

Response
A normal female spade connector that slides over the male connector should work. You are just sliding it from the side of the round raised circle.
This is a quick link that I found on Google to show you, but you can find them at any auto parts or hardware store. http://www.wiringproducts.com/index1.html?lang=en-us&target=d44.html&gclid=CJTMv9_x45YCFSJIagodHAxmOA You can also see an example of how it would connect in this photo below. a similar connector is just below the flywheel on the right. You can see that the connector covers up the round circle and slides on sideways. ![]() Hope this helps, Bryan |
