Radio deleat radio
Just got a radio delete plate from our host and was thinking of how I can upgrade the stereo by deleteing the original one for a modern one. I kept the speakers in the door and installed an amp in the trunk and ran the input cable to my iphone under the carpet to the e brake. now I use the ipod on my iphone for music with no visible radio in the dash.
I used a 600w x4 channel amp to power the 4 MB Quart 6.5 speakers. sounds great and you can get phone calls hands free! Volume control is through the phone and it goes with me when l leave the car. I do have a charger in the lighter but might wire in a more permanent one. Anyway, it works cool and looks like i'm hard core (no radio)!

![]() Sorry - this pic just cracks me up. I posted it earlier in my "missing bolt" thread, and no, I did not do that myself! I did have a new stereo put in today, and a guy who knew what he was doing UNdid that mess, and then put it all back together beautifully. But your ingenious solution has me thinking. (Uh oh!)
