I had two beautiful black Delrin knobs made to fit my WEVO shifter. Personally I found the WEVO knob way too small for my hand and I didn't like the heat and cold issues associated with the aluminum knob.

PM me and I can give you some details. I know the fab guy I used would like to make more of these to cover the R&D time he spent on mine

Leather would be best.

The worst possible shift knob would be Aluminum. Obviously, they did not study ergonomics.

Don't let the wankers bother you. If they make a skirt comment, punch them out and then choke them with your kilt.

Sorry, couldn't resist, I mean really - shift knob is too cold?

Mainely Custom By Design makes some really beautiful wood knobs for the stock shifter.

I think they have adapters to fit various years & models.

Perhaps one would fit your Wevo.

Actually all kidding aside, I HAVE noticed that they are awfully cold in the AM.

I don't notice the heat as I typically have the top down during the summer....

Success!

For sale soon: Four black acetal shift knobs. Longer than the tall wevo knobs by .6 inches. Stays nice and warm to the touch.
We made five, I'm keeping one. Or maybe two.

I don't know... is $55 shipped outrageous? My buddy didn't charge me, so it would be nice to compensate him for his shop time.
The first knob off the machine is a bit rougher and than the rest, though still usable by all means. It would go for less than the others.

Sweet. So the rough one is still available. Say, $35 shipped? It could probably be smoothed out with some fine sand paper.

Sheesh... what a bunch of nancys you Californians are... "Ooohh, I'm so coooold, it's 66 degrees!"
Anyway, I just dropped off the knobs for you three at the post office. Let me know how you like them when they arrive. Oh, and take care when bolting them down not to overtighten. Mine tightened down with a very light touch.

Thumbs up

Hey Graham,

Got the shift knob just in time for the winter cold snap that hit us this past weekend...it was 26°F yesterday morning when I drove to work. I think the knob
saved my fingers from certain frostbite. Anyway, I'm really happy with it. I like the extra length, and I think the car actually shifts a little better than before.

Thanks again,
Mark

Great! I'm glad you like it. I question the shifting better bit, but I tend to say the same thing when I put a new part on the car
