Pelicans in Westchester Los Angeles
I live in Westchester CA. It's just a few mile's from Pelican.
There a lot of 911 in the neighborhood. Some wave back when I wave and some look at me like I grew a second head. Any Pelicans live in Westchester or near it. I would love to put a name to the faces I'm waving at, or maybe grab a beer some time. Here's my car ![]() Steve

Yes, maybe we could smoke the plants growing in front of your car also.

Hi Steve,
Until 3 1/2 months ago I lived just the other side of LAX in El Segundo. My car is an '85 coupe almost exactly your color. Used to pass you down on Lincoln I think. I'll be back in So. Cal soon and give you a wave though I like the two headed option. Scott

Hey, I know this car, seen in sitting in front of a red barn in some city, called La Mirada.

I lived there for ten years and loved it. I'd go run on the beach (Dockweiler) weekday mornings. Usually had the whole beach to myself.
I originally discovered Pelican when I was at Crown Books El Segundo (gone) and I guess Wayne or Tom was there in a car that had Pelican Parts written on the side along with the web address, phone number and mentioned Porsche parts and the BBS. That was in late 1999 or early 2000. About 9 years later and I'm still here. I remember going over to Pelican's first location and meeting Wayne. He was enthusiastic when I mentioned I had a 72' Coupe. I thought he was maybe the owners son ![]()

Steve, et al,
Loved Westchester, the location of my parents first new home located just off of La Tijera. Spent my early days there, began school at Osage Ave, went to movies at the Paradise and La Tijera theaters, played in the nearby canyon that now has the 405 running through it. Moved away years ago, but childhood memories don't fade and I still drive through the area when I have a chance. I'll certainly wave at any 911's in the area, if you guys wave back at a vintage 73.5 Light Ivory T driven by someone with hair the same color as his car ![]()

I'm on the otherside of LAX, Culver City.
I've seen and waved to a car of that color, but sometimes from a Green VW. Then I get the weird looks.

Nameisbauer - do live near Culver City park. I always see a yellow 911 w/ a very large rear spoiler while running.

Yes, the one with the dog park and skatepark.
Just a ducktail. Not too big.
