Thoughts while not driving my 911

I haven't driven it since the 14th of November, the small freeway mishap. So now I drive a rental Kia, possibly the cheapest car one could buy. Crank windows and manual locks. Struggles to get up hills.
I didn't think about rental insurance so have to take care of it myself. I called my insurance agent-my brother- and asked him why we never talked about rental insurance. He said people with more cars than drivers don't buy it, so he never brought it up. Unfortunately when I bought the 911 I liked is so much I sold the other cars to drive it every day. Too bad, can't rag on my brother about it.
The good things are now I park right in front at the stores, I don't care that some SUV took up a space and a half, I crowd right in and use the other half the inconsiderate oaf left. The Kia uses about 9 gallons a week, now that gas is cheap and I can use CHEAP gas is seems kind of funny.
I do miss the 911 and THEY TELL ME, it will be as good as it was. I don't believe it but I used it every day so now I can think of it as a daily driver.
I go look at it every other day. Here is the latest picture, getting fenders and hood fitted. They say they fix the suspension after this, I thought it would be the other way around but I know nothing about body/suspension work.

Dean,
I know how you feel. When i first bought my 911 about two years ago, the whole front wiring harness burned up, no fire to to the car, but the whole harness needed to be replaced, this was only after having the car for ONE MONTH!!! I was devastated!!!! I had my mechanic replace the harness (Took about 4 months and insurance paid for it-Thanks USAA!!! ) , i too found my-selfing going to look at the car, and just sitting in it, wishing i could drive her. But when you get her back, it will be that much better and you will enjoy the driving experience that much more, trust me, i know!!! Hang in their and Good luck!!!
