Strange engine noise
Today I restarted the car after almost 2 months of not using it. I was doing some body work after an encounter with a protection tire wall at my local race track.
But, when I started the engine I immediately noted a strange noise. It seems like a strong valve noise coming from cylinder number 4. The noise seems to decrease and almost dissapear when the engine gets warm. The engine is a 993 Euro Varioram (1997) Any ideas on what could be going on? Thanks

Just answering my own question here, in case it is useful for somebody else in the future.
After doing some research I found out the this could be associated with the hidraulic lifters being stucked because of the engine not working for some time (almost two months). I pretty sure this was the case, because it has never done it again and the engine is working perfect now. Cheers
