2 simple questions: search was not helpful :(

Tried to search....maybe i am not doing the query right, so even the right query would be an A+ response

1) jack up the car, or ramps (for a person that cannot afford to have a fork lift or anything too expensive or that takes space anywhere); can't find any specific threads on how to jack up the car correctly (i have the 101 project book, but always good to hear more opinions), and a suggestion about what ramps to buy so i can work on my car in conjuction with the jack stand (if i need to remove the wheels)

2) backdating the heater: anyone got the parts from our host? is there anyone selling these parts for cheap? since as far as i can see, are 2 metal plates....or as alternative, what to do to get the heater since my pump is burned and i do not want to spend 200 bucks for fixing it, so backdating was the cheapest solution, unless you have another solution (nope, teh 12V electric heater is not an option lol)

Thanks and sorry to post over and over the same stuff, but is kinda hard to find something when you don't know how to search for it (as suggestion....would be nice to have different sections related to the different areas, like the paint/body section....after all the questions are always on the same topics:

-oil lines and oil change
-transmission problems
-CIS and fuel issues
-starter/ignition/electric issues

Just my 2 cents at least in this way the search can be done only in the specific forum, saving the time to go trough posts and topics that has nothing to do with what you are looking for ^_^)

Lifting Car Sequence

this should get you started.
If you go to the advanced search, you can select the forum you want to search and in 3 seconds get a ton of threads on jacking the car.
