Key is in the ON postion, correct? Does you regular wiper work? If not check the fuse or relay.

when the points in the wiper switch don't contact with the switch off, the wipers don't park and the intermittents don't work.

I don't see a problem with this. My intermittents don't work nor do they park correctly. However, I like that I can park them on the passenger side, and the wife can look at them instead of me!

+1. If your wipers don't park, you need to take the switch off the steering column, and re-bend / sand to fresh metal, on the switch contacts. Once the wipers can park, the intermittent function works as well. If your wipers still park fine, maybe it is a relay or rheostat.

My wipers park good, and they work fine. Just the little dial by the guauges when I turn it nothing happens.

The intermittant feature only works when the wipers are parked in the off position, not while they are on low or high.

Fix the intermittent, then pop the tach out and reposition the arm to move the park position to the passenger side.
