Forgive my ignorance, but other than shiny, what exactly are those? Hinges of some sort, I assume?

One thing I love about the older cars...the rear pop out windows. Hopefully I am assuming correctly.

Thanks, I knew it must have been from an older car. I just couldn't, for the life of me, think of it.

yes, they're for the rear quarter windows of my 70 T. I used a plater here in Houston, Atlas Plating. I'm finding prices are pretty standard after checking with a few advertising on the web. These cost $40 ea. to strip and replate. There are four pieces to each latch and they are relatively small and probably hard to do. Here is a before pic:
![]() Here are the door handles they did ![]() As you can see in the first pic, I had another latch, but am missing the adjusting bolt if anyone is interested.

Mmmm... shiny. Some new jewelry for the P-car. She'll be so happy.

$40 each, eh? I wonder if a production run of CNC'd Al substitutes could be sold for close to that...
Did you restore the black plastic with something? |

Those are awesome. Can I ask how hard the doorhandles were to take apart before plating and the cost?

The handles come apart quite easily.
