Is anyone using a Innovate LM-2

Ive been looking at the Air Fuel meters and this one will do this and more, according to the specs anyway. But I looked at their forum and it seams that many are not happy. I know that people with problems are more likely to post and they use these for various applications.

So, does anyone here use one and how does it work for you. Was it worth the money?

I'm mostly intereted in reading my A/F and RPM in my 3.2. But I would also like to use it for the OBD-11 scan reading for my newer cars.

I know I asked a similar question a few days ago, but I'm narrowing my search.

Thanks.

Mark

Am also interested in this question. And I wonder if anyone can compare the LM2 wit one of the less sophisticated wide band devices like the AEM wide band controller. CLearly the LM2 is a great tool for shop use; I wonder if the weekend tinkerer couldn't do as well with less?

I have used the LM-1 and the LM-2 ... both are wonderful tools.

The gas analyzer from a local shop matched up perfectly with the LM readings. So I am confident that the LMs are accurate.

The one accessory that I want to get is the one that reads AFR throughout the RPM range. The LM units are pretty pricey but even the base model will give you a lot of valuable info.

I have an LM-2 in the box waiting to go in... I'll report back after I use it to tune my CIS. It looks really simple to use so should not be an issue.

I went ahead and got the LM-2. I'm having trouble getting the rpm to work correctly. I tried hooking the black/white wire to the coil but the reading was to high and jumped around. I also tried my tach sensor from the dme, but that was also reading to high. I guess I'll have to try and read through the manuel and see what I'm missing.

Im hopeing to hook it up and get readings while driving. I'd like to know where I'm at but I need to get the rpm thing sorted out first.
