How to remove '80SC seat belt to replace rear side panel

I have replacement rear side trim panels for my '80 SC, but it is not obvious what needs to be done to remove the panels, because the seat belt retractor assy goes thru the slot in the panel. Anybody done this on their Pcar that could give me some tips on what need to be done seat belt wise.
thanks,
Grant

Loosen up the rear quarter panel (remove the widow trim first). With this undone it will give you some room to access the belts. Unscrew the two little screws from the plastic belt surround - once this is off you can bend the plastic slightly to slip the belt through slit in the plastic and away from the belt. With that off, you'll be able to fish the smaller belt pieces - all attached to the belt - down through the now larger hole in the quarter panel trim.

Install is reverse.
