Ok guys, leave Shane alone, he has had enough heat for that spelling mistake...
Send him one of those pink T-shirts for free as a token of our good will.
I'm sure he'll wear it proudly!

hahaha, I drove a friend's Carrera that was teasing me about my franken-porsche. Then we went for a ride in my SC and his grin was replaced with a WTF look. But I really do appreciate those owners that keep their cars original. So much so I sold my '74 because I did not want to cut up the car to make something else. Went out and found a great SC body and later a great WOT 3.2 engine. Put a 7:31 RP 915 tranny in it, some yellowbird bumpers, RSR M&K muffler, and away we go.

Still working on the suspension, the heavier engine really does need the 22/28 tb setup. Purchased and waiting for the install.

I really do like the SC body more. The SC rear looks shrink wrapped where the Carrera flares leave a little more room for error. IMO

SC with Carrera engine... hmm... Yeah, I think that description sums it up. It's an SC (with a carrera engine)... still an SC. Welcome aboard. :-)

The 930 flares are still the ones you could've gotten on an SC with the turbo-look option though, aren't they?

If we keep finding similarities between our cars, before you know it we'll stop ripping on each other on the internet and find ourselves sitting around a campfire somewhere singing kumbayah.

Well, not this guy!

Carrera's suck! Super Carrera's Rock! SCWDP forever!!!

I dunno...every Carrera I've seen has decidedly LIMP flares...usually with a little extra sparkle to the paint.

Just sayin'...their flares have some FLAIR alright.

And they're gay

My friend's Carrera had body work done, must have messed up the rear flares or tried to put YB flares on it because they were not the same as mine.

I just like the fact we argue over which 911 series is better! I love 911s baby! I wish I had one of each.

that's actually not a bad idea! I could rebadge my car as an SC.. It would be such a sleeper! Everyone expecting the mediocre performance of an SC.. hehe
