Crankshaft Pulley Replacement-No Engine Drop Bolt Access Workflow?
I'm looking to change out the original crankshaft pulley (original w' AC pulley to a single pulley) on my 3.2L while the engine is still in the car and was wondering if there is a workflow to access the pulley bolt without an engine drop. The 3.2L is from a cab, thus has the vibration dampener, resulting in even less space to work with. I've heard one can support the engine from below and remove the engine mount bolts, cross member, and tins to access it better....
Any additional thoughts or Lessons Learned or definite "DON'Ts" from someone doing this before that I can take before diving in? Thanks, |
