Who makes this alignment tool?
Anyone know who makes this alignment tool? Looks pretty slick to me. Takes the error out of measuring from an uneven rim surface for toe and makes all the adjustors easier to get to. I checked both intercomp and longacre with no luck.

Look in Grassroots... there is a company that has a little add in the back that has these... I think when I checked they were about $1000

Though that tool appears to allow impressive initial set up..
Often at the track we use Smart Camber and Toe Plates... to adjust for conditions.

The picture you posted isa sort of stand which attaches to the hub, on a set of turn plates....which look like they are on the a set of scales...
Same as hubstands.com... I'm rethinking my decision about buying these... I think might.. access to the springs for corner balance is easier... you can get to the tie rods and rear toe/camber adjustment more easily also.. One thing that is holding me back is that on an alignment machine like ours, You correct for any wheel run-out by calibrating each wheel sensor.. i.e. you rotate the wheel a number of times until the the alignment computer learns "everything" about each wheels position. But having access to the suspension without the wheels on would be great..

Just FYI, the first photo of the fixture was off of Rich Newton's [race car market thread] website in a set of photos he took at a winter Sebring test session of new 2009 RSR's. Thanks Rich! I suspect the item is probably a Porsche Motorsports item costing some obscene amount.

Well the tool/fixture was identified...it's a Porsche Motorsports North America tool. I have part numbers if anyone is interested but the price for four of them is approx $7500.00. I guess we move on to option "B"
