Very nice. The AL button (early car) really makes it look good. The dual gauges make for nice balance.

We use a fuel/oil gauge as a core, which is the same size as the clock.

How about an aritificial horizon indicator from an old airplane? Great conversation piece!

Gets my vote, in fact I want one now! :D

That is really cool though... practical too.

FWIW I added boost and EGT guages to my Subaru (2.0L turbo) and while I watch the boost, I don't pay that much attention to EGT... maybe if I was modding the engine / exhaust it would be useful.

jcoltz,

Where did you find the Volt/Mixture gauge?

The volt/cht and volt/a/f gauges are both ours. More crazy stuff in our porsche gauge showcase:

So a combo Boost & AFR guage in the clock hole is doable? That would be very useful. I would swap out my 934 boost gauge for that combination.

DSouth, I used the gage along with the LC-1 wideband controller from Innovate. there was a little calibration fussing, but it works fine.

how about this.....911 Driver’s Air Ventilation Kit
Replaces the factory heater/ventilation system under
the cowl and blows generous amounts of air to the
driver. The air comes out through the clock hole. A
bolt-in installation. 911 ‘69 to ‘89
041100............................................ ....................$231.45

Hmmm, I wonder how much work it would be to fit that where the stock clock is now... The stock guages all pull out, right?

It's about the right size but described as square. However, I googled it and the casing is supposedly "high impact Polystyrene" so should be easily cuttable.

*dreams of flyer's helmets, goggles and cries of "Chocks away!", "Tally ho, chaps!"*

:D
