Production on 996/997 GT3s was too high to get overly enamoured with concours purity. I strongly suspect the motor in my 2008 GT3 will go north of 180K without a rebuild. If I did rebuild it, I would use the best available parts, not necessarily Porsche parts, and build in easy (if possible) power increases and for reliability. Car doesn't really need more power.
You cannot buy a new car today short of a Veyron or Enzo (not even new anymore!) without taking depreciation hits. Within 2 years, my depreciation will be equal to today's market value on an early 911S - YMMV.

There is a lot of scams on Autotrader these days. That does not look like one they usually say "Do not contact me though auto-trader e-mail my e-mail does not work" or something like that. But I bet that is one of the scams. I am surprised Autotrader cant get a better handle on it. Sometimes I will search for a model and the same car pops up in three or 4 differnt places for .10 cents on the dollar for current market value. I guess they come in on line and they cant vet them all.
