Can someone help me fix the curb rash on my Turbo twist??
Hey guys. I am new to this forum so If this is in the wrong spot please let me know or you can move it
I just bought some turbo twist wheels that have a curb rash for a good deal and I was wondering if anyone has seen or know about someone posting a DIY for fixing up these wheels with curb rash?? I was searching but couldnt find any so all the help will be appreciated Here are the pictures of the wheels that has the curb and I also posted a thread I found for VW oweners on how to fix Longbeach wheels. (http://www.passatworld.com/forums/sh....php?p=2183943) Does anyone know the name of the color of these wheels or a place I can find the stuff to fix these. Thanks alot. ![]()

Wet sanding and repainting. Wurth brand Silver is darn close to the factory color, IIRC.
Read these threads, friend. it is not above the realm of the hardcore DIY'er. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/search.php?searchid=3384433

There is actually an article in the April 2009 issue of Execellence Magazine (p. 135) that details the repair of a porsche wheel. I think it's called the $23 wheel deal, it was either a twist or cup wheel.
