Big favor to ask of those w/ Recaro seats

I'm looking for hard data on the variations in sidemounts

Sooo, if you have a minute and can measure the vertical distance between the lowest mounting hole and the bottom of the side mount, front and rear, that would be helpful

Something like this

If it's easier you can measure to the bottom of the slider, just identify if you have the 3mm spacers used for the seatbelt mounts

Format
sidemount front rear
BK9066 92.2 87.25

Would love data on any and all sidemounts that you use in your car also it would probably be best to id the sseat and car. I'm sick and tired of guessing and taking some salesmans word.

I'll get some measurments from a Speedster seat tomorrow.
I also have a pair of non Porsche SPG's and 996 GT2 seats. Do you want them measured as well?

Here, Here! I am in the process of fabricating my own for this very reason. I have bought 3+ sets, trying to find one that suits my purpose and got fed up. A database of this info would be a great resource. Good on ya Bill V.!

PP and Profi SPG and Profi SPG XL are marketed as different seats over here, though they have been changing the names. Somtimes the SPG is called Profi, SPG XL > Profi XL etc. The Profi SPG XL is the only one w/ the large holes for shoulder harness

Is that the Recaro universal steel sides or perhaps the PP specific sidemount(Recaro7202451?)

SPG XL on left PP on right

the SPG looks like the SPG XL but is narrower 395mm at the seat base

There are at least 2 different Recaro steel sidemounts
1) universal
2) PP specific

I'm not sure which side mounts I have and the part numbers are covered by the seats.

The front is 4-1/4" from the bottom of the rail side to the center of the lowest hole.

The rear is 4" from the bottom of the rail side to the center of the lower hole.

Those Recaro mounts look significantly different than mine. They're lower, but I wonder how they line up with stock rails and PP width? I'd like to lower mine about 1/2".

After years of installing kart seats, this was the easiest seat install I've ever done. I mounted the passenger seat to the body rails and the driver seat on Recaro sliders. The Recaro slider offer a lot more for and aft movement.
