Pelican Service. Wow.

Order placed yesterday afternoon. Order received early this morning. Maybe 18 hours elapsed time? I'm impressed.

Granted I'm in California, but most mail order type outfits would just be getting around to printing out the order to be filled this morning, let alone have it all packaged up, shipped, and in the customer's hands.

Same thing happened to me last week. Odered at 4:00 pm on a Tuesday, had the parts in my hand in my office in Las Vegas at 10:00 am on Wednesday.

Unbelievable...

I'm also in CA, and have the same experience. Most items arrive the next day.

I can't say enough good things about Pelican's service. While I can't say I've gotten it next day, it's always been surprisingly fast. What you "next day" guys are missing out on is Wayne's incredible tracking/status system you can use to see where your order is. The only down side is that I now expect every other company I deal w/ to be as fast and efficient as Pelican

I'm lucky, drive right by them twice every day while commuting to work! Always been treated really well by the inside staff.

You guys suck! My deliveries usually take about a week. The fastest delivery I ever had was from TireRack. Ordered the tires on Monday morning and they were in my driveway Wednesday @ noon! I must have caught them before their shipping deadline.

Now, that's unfair . Once I called and ask if I can pick up. That one time was in urgent case, and the answer was "no".

Hey, on Island time, that is considered "next day" service.

I envy some of you guys with your quick shipping times. You're fortunate you don't have to deal with customs . My order was shipped out on Mar 16. It is now sitting in customs while their minions decide when to place their grubby little approval stamps on my package & allow me to get on with my project. Pelican has kept up their part of the bargain.

Thanks to Wayne & Crew
Cheers
JB

I placed an order this morning... I live in Australia so it should be interesting to see how long it will take to get to me. Australian Customs are pretty good.

The last time it took about 10 days in total. That is more than acceptable to me.

Buying from the local dealership is not an option. Try $75 for an Air Filter!
There is an independent Porsche specialist garage but there not really geared up for parts. They're a busy workshop and focus more on repairs than anything else.

This is not a paid advertisement but I don't know what I would do if I couldn't buy from Pelican.

7 to 9 work days to get it in Massachusetts. +1 on east coast store, or the 2-3 day expedited shipping for an extra $3.

Most of the time I get mine within a week. Right now I have a $400+ order that's been held up over 3 weeks because of one unavailable part, but they charged my credit card 3 weeks ago. Service is generally good, but they do drop the ball from time to time.
