Where can I get a front hood release knob...

for my 72 911? I looked on this site but can not find one that looks like mine. Will the gas door release work and is it the same size? I also noticed that there are hood release handles for later cars that are 'T' shaped, will these work?
Thanks

What does yours look like? My 73 has the "T" like the one sold by Pelican. Mind you, my car had several PO's so they could have changed out to the "T". Either way, both knobs will thread on to the end of the cable, afik.

I've never seen any but the "T" type. The rear one is much smaller.

Mine "was" round and looked like the gas cap knob, but bigger- I think. And why do I need a new one, because when I shipped my car I unscrewed it and placed it in a moving box, and was never to be seen again. Dumb, dumb that I am.
Did the 72 have a round one just so it could more special, kind of like the oil door?
