911s with non porsche engines

I thought I would start a thread to gather pictures and info on 911s with all non-porsche transplant engines. We know well about V8s and Subaru flat six, but what else has been done? I will start with a rotary turbo transplant:

I like it. I always thought if i didn't own an aircooled porsche, it would be a rotary engined car.

Unbeleivable someone could cram that engine in there. You would think he would need wheeli bars for it.

no on the corvette...all aluminum dart 434 sbc roller motor with mass flo efi developing almost 600 chp. kep stage 2 clutch and pressure plate with 930 short bell transaxle. big brakes, big bars,lindsay 10 by 17s on the rear with 285s. car weighs 2250 pounds.

The LS1 conversion has a weight comparison with stock motor: saves 21 lbs!

Not to split hairs, but he calculated the wet weight of the 911 engine (he specifically adds 2.5 gallons of oil), and compared it to the dry weight of the LS1. At least he doesn't mention any oil or coolant being added to the weight of the engine.

He claims the car will do 230 mph!
