911s with non porsche engines
I thought I would start a thread to gather pictures and info on 911s with all non-porsche transplant engines. We know well about V8s and Subaru flat six, but what else has been done? I will start with a rotary turbo transplant:

I like it. I always thought if i didn't own an aircooled porsche, it would be a rotary engined car.

I like anything that burns gas, makes noise, and goes fast.

Unbeleivable someone could cram that engine in there. You would think he would need wheeli bars for it.

we need data -- what does each motor weigh?
and how much power & torque does it produce? I'm "down" with losing 200 lbs. from the rear of the car.... otherwise, no |

http://toy-jet.com/index2.html Power? Well, he says 500+hp... But the neat part of this conversion is his patented radiator in the wing.
