Unknown plug under passenger side

I am a new owned of an 87 Cabrio. While exploring the interior, I found the pictured plug/adapter under the passenger seat. The wires running to it are brown (ground I assume) and two red (one striped). Has anyone seen the same?

I BELIEVE it's the power plug for an electric seat. I have the same plug under my (non-electric) passenger seat and an identical one plugged into my (electric) driver's seat.

Pre-wiring for power seat connection. I assume your passenger seat has no power adjustment functions? That's how my car was equipped- 4 way power driver seat and completely manual passenger seat.
