That is it. Underneath the car near the trans crossmember it is the fat hose near the center of the chassis next to the clutch hydraulic line and also the throttle rod

Thanks. I've searched for a part # and cannot find one. Do people just use generic vacuum hose from a big box auto parts store to replace?

If you use generic hose, it might collapse/squish easily. I'm sure there's nothing super special about the hose that Porsche used for this application, other than the fact that it's VERY sturdy hose. So make sure you pick a hose that has a thick wall to it.
I looked in the parts diagrams and the hose is found in the Main Group 6 (Wheels, Brakes) and in Subgroup 4 (Brake Fluid Reservoir/Brake Master Cyl.). The part number you want is below part number 16 in the list. Looks like the hose sold by the length is 999.181.022.50 which is 11.8mm (call it 12mm) OD, 4mm ID hose. https://techinfo.porsche.com/techinfo/pdf/en/catalogues/E_911_89_KATALOG.pdf
