Corbeau fx1 seat install

Hi gang
Here is the question: what is the best way to mount this seat ? Pictures are helpful as I am over 50 .I figure some type of supported floor setup is best. The car is a 77 911, the side mounts are from corbeau.
Thanks Chuck

My advice is to set the seat in the car, sit on it, and figure out if you have the right height range on the sidemounts to mount to a plate between the chassis seat rails. Personally, I prefer that to drilling holes in the floor.

Are the mounts specific to your car, or are these just a universal mounts? If they are specific to your car then the holes should line up. I have a corbeau forza (piece of crap) in my car with a universal mount and I had to buy two pieces of flat steel which I mounted between the stock seat rails. I then drilled holes in steel and mounted seat. I just bought a pair of new corbeau A4's and bought the mounts that are specific to my car which is much easier. Is this going into a race car, if not you want to re-think and get sliders?

On the photo , i think you place the inferior part in the wrong way.

It must be inside and not outside on my own.

You've just got to drill (or perhaps not with chance) the original sliders and fix the seats on .

I hope my way of writing clear.....sorry if not.

Really splendids seats !!!!

Thanks guys for the replies !. This is mostly a track car. I think the side mounts are universal which seem to sit too high on the oem seat position.I did sit in the seat in the car as a trial run. Also the oem mounts are not quite wide enough. So hence my floor mount ? keep it coming guys.

I have a corbeau seat bracket and sliders that you can have for the cost of postage from BC.
