Can I check if my oil temp sensor is OK???
Hi,
I can't get a reading on my oil temp gauge and suspect the oil temp sensor. Is there a way to check whether that's working or not and in the gauge is at fault? Or alternatively, whether the gauge is ok.. Thanks for your help!

There are some good threads on this so do a quick search.
The process involves pulling the temp sender and dropping it in a pan of hot oil. Use an accurate temp probe to read the temp of the oil and then confirm that your temp gage is giving you the same reading. One of the past threads has some nice pics too that will show you how to set it all up.

If I understand the question correctly...your oil temp gauge does not move and is stuck at the bottom? No reading at all?
Or the gauge "kind of works", but you aren't sure if the gauge is reading the temp correctly? If the gauge isn't moving, you should gently pull the gauge from the dash and check for voltage to the back of the gauge. If you're getting power, the gauge probably needs replaced. If the gauge works but may not be reading correctly, you'll probably want to follow mca's advice above.
