Question Removing Trim/quarter window

Can anyone tell me or show me pictures of how to remove the quarter window and reinstall it? I can't find anything on the forum.

The Haynes manual tells you how to remove it, by cutting the rubber seal and taking out the window, but you can't exactly do the same process in reverse. I don't want to break the glass when I reinstall the window.

Thanks,

The search function is pretty easy once you get the hang of it and a fantastic resource.

I just ran an advanced search on the 911 forum only (ie click on search then advanced) using the keywords "quarter + window" in the thread title only.

Glad to help.

If you are removing the glass and replacing the glass to trim seal when you put it the trim back together with the angle braces use a large clamp to hold everything together. This way you won't breakt the angle brace when trying to screw in the mini screws to hold it all together.

The final seal on the outer part of the trim needs soap and water and press real hard right on the center of the seal to drive it into the groove. Run your thunb (or other hard object) along with soapy water back and forth.
