If you need some nice colored wires...
I'm always on the hunt for some nice colored wires to keep in the garage in case I burn something up and need to rewire. I just hit the jackpot today!
My Maytag dishwasher needed a new circuit board and it came with a new wiring harness. The old harness was a gold mine. 14 gauge wire, 2 feet long, nice shielding, and lots of colors... If you have a recycle center close (mine is only 10 minutes away) you could probably take one or two machines apart and be set for a long time. I know there is always a pile of used appliances at any given time at mine. Just wanted to pass this along...

Great find!!
I keep wires and switches from toys/appliances that break. You never know when you'll need something odd.
