I can not cut the bottom on the box since I have a 89 and the door lock switch is under it . what I did is actually cut the switch Thanks

Ah yeah.. forgot about that. I removed the central locking switch and it's harness and hot glue and double sided taped it to the bottom of the ashtray frame. It fits there, the harness reaches, and it worked out real well. Don't have to lean forward as far everytime to hit that switch.

I did that to open up more space for a wideband AFR gauge in the console under the AC controls
