Kudos to Steve Wong!!

Just installed a custom chip for my 3.8RS, it's only the rough chip, still need to do air/fuel ratios, got that scheduled for 2 weeks from now. But even the rough chip seems to idle better and perform at least as well as the old one.

Another very happy customer! I may have to get one for my 3.6 too.

Steve did an awesome job on my 3.6 chip. Driveability was definitely improved as was power and AFR.

Same here. Went from a 2.7 to a 3.6 and was amazed at the power increase. Then when I put in one of Steve's chips it was like another bump in power. Plus the hunting idle with the light flywheel went away. Great product.

I have to agree with the Kudos. I spoke to Steve just last night about an idle problem that I had following the install of his chip. He was very patient with me and my lame description of the problem and gave me several root possible causes and tips on how to diagnose it. A class act.

These threads just aren't any fun anymore without you-know-who.
Everyone (including me!) has nothing but praise for Steve and his products. It gets kind of boring after a while

I remember you know who. I just finished installing steve's chip in my friends 993 about an hour ago. I have put steve's chips in two other 80's carreras and have full confidence in his products. Someday I would like to have him dial my car in on the dyno just to see how much better it could be.

Bill,
I have a similar engine to yours and need custom software. Let me know what the rest of the tuning process is.
Thanks!

2 ways to do it
1) take to Rick Demans shop(~240mi round trip for me) have him dyno it, the afr comes w/ that
2) local shop has a wideband sniffer that ties to the tach and records afr's while driving,

option 2 is what I'll do.

I won't be able get this done before the first track day but the car is running great w/ the first iteration of the chip.

These folks? http://www.demanmotorsport.com/

That is fairly close for me (90 miles each way is close enough!). I'll get in touch with them - thanks for the tip.

Yes, Rick is a wizard and has the only dyno I'm comfortable w/ using, he has a DynpPak and knows how to use it.
