Another FYI Alloy lug nut

While experimenting with various ways to take the anodize off my lug nuts I messed up on the first one.
I tried to use a 2" scotch brite wheel while it got the anodize off it also made the sharp corners kinda rounded off.
So since this lug nut I won't be using I'd thought I cut it in half and see how much "meat" was holding the wheel and tires.

Years ago easy-off oven cleaner used to take anodizing off really well.
