Copper Exhaust Nuts and Washers - Need Part # Help
I have a bag of 6 copper exhuast nuts that came with my rebuild hardware kit from our host. They look identical to this part number - 11-62-1-711-954-M58 (BMW). The bag has 036561 hand written on it but that number does not translate to a part number.
I also have a bag of copper rings/washers with part number 900-123-005-00. Are these the washers for the copper exhaust nuts? The description calls them "rings" but they are flat on the faces. Or is it okay if if I continue to use washers aren't copper. Anyhow, I wanted to go ahead an install these if they are the correct parts. My SSIs are currently bolted on with oval locking nuts and I understand that the expansion rate doesn't match that of copper. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Your 'rings' turn up this description:
"12 x 16 Sealing Ring for Cam Line Hollow Bolt (sold per each, 2 Req. Per Line) 911/911 Turbo (1966-89)" Nuts = 900-910-097-02-OEM, but I suspect your BMW nuts are indentical. |
