MFI sequencial substitution

I have a 72 2.4 911t, that did, at one time have MFI. I want injection back on it, but the standard Megasquirt won't work like the MFI. I know that Megasquirt has the new sequencer. Does any one know any thing about this? It sounds like a perfect fit as I can use the cam pulley from the MFI as a means of cam timeing for the system. But will I need to put a sensor on the other cam as well?
